Factory Digitalization Platform
Digitalization begins not with software, but with data. Hino Systech builds platforms for data acquisition, aggregation, and analytics of factory operational data, deployed through a phased roadmap tailored to existing infrastructure and practical budgets.
Challenges facing your business
-
External Pressures Driving Digitalization Beyond Internal Needs
Standardized production and energy data requirements, international client demands for traceability during audits, and increasingly stringent reporting mandates for energy consumption and carbon emissions are accelerating transformation. Facilities reliant on logbooks and disconnected spreadsheets cannot satisfy these standards, creating an uncontrolled operational risk in the discrepancy between "reported figures" and "actual floor conditions."
-
Fragmented Digitalization: Isolated Systems and Data Silos
Many facilities implement point solutions: office management software, proprietary inverter monitoring portals, isolated smart meters, and dedicated control systems for individual production lines. Because these systems operate in silos without synchronized timestamps, synthesizing a unified overview is impossible. Consequently, despite substantial capital expenditure, management still lacks a single-pane-of-glass dashboard reflecting real-time factory operations.
-
Costly Digitalization Initiatives Stalling Mid-Way
The "all-at-once" approach often results in oversized scope, excessive capital outlay, extended deployment timelines, and high attrition rates when corporate budgets or operational priorities shift. Conversely, ad-hoc procurement of standalone tools perpetuates the very data fragmentation digitalization is meant to eliminate. Both approaches prevent capital investments from converting into measurable operational gains.
Technology-Driven Architecture from Hino Systech
Our approach
-
1
Digitalization Originating at the Data Source
Hino engineers conduct comprehensive on-site surveys to identify all available data sources: power meters at electrical panels and production lines, equipment status signals, PLC communication ports, and data from inverters and power generation assets. For legacy machinery lacking native connectivity, physical I/O signals are integrated into localized IIoT data acquisition boxes. All operational parameters are captured automatically and continuously with uniform timestamping directly at the point of origin.

2
A Unified Middleware Layer for Multi-Vendor Plant Assets
Equipment from manufacturers such as Siemens, Schneider Electric, ABB, and others communicate via Modbus TCP/IP with proprietary data mappings, while grid-tied systems frequently utilize the IEC 60870-5-104 standard. The protocol conversion layer—anchored by the Hino Gateway 378—aggregates and harmonizes these disparate inputs into a single standardized data stream. This middleware layer is critical to any digitalization project: without it, upper-level software cannot access clean, structured data.
-
3
Single Data Source, Multi-Tier Applications
Built upon this standardized foundation, industrial plants can deploy application layers according to operational priorities: SCADA/OCC for real-time operational monitoring, EMS/PMS for energy analysis and benchmarking, and seamless production data integration into MES/ERP systems in coordination with enterprise IT teams. Each subsequent layer is added without re-engineering base-level infrastructure, as the underlying data layer is already established.

An Engineering Partner Bridging the Shop Floor and Enterprise Systems
Hino Systech Vietnam is a 100% Japanese-owned enterprise backed by over 70 years of engineering heritage from Hino Systech Japan (established in 1950) and more than a decade of operations in Vietnam, supported by over 20 Japan-trained engineers. Industrial digitalization most commonly fails when service providers focus solely on software, lacking hands-on expertise in electrical panels, legacy schematics, and rigorous site constraints that prohibit downtime during live production. Hino takes a field-engineering-first approach: surveying, designing, fabricating control panels, on-site installation, and commissioning before integrating upper-layer software.
-
Layered Architecture, Scalable Deployment, Single-Source Responsibility
The platform is designed with a layered architecture from the ground up: field metering and IIoT acquisition at the base, protocol conversion in the middleware, SCADA/OCC and EMS/PMS at the monitoring and analytics tier, and enterprise management interfaces at the apex. This modular framework enables enterprises to pilot targeted areas or high-priority objectives, scaling systematically without modifying completed installations. With the entire chain engineered and guaranteed by a single provider, data continuity is maintained across all levels, ensuring full traceability back to raw physical signals. Hino's capability to deliver large-scale industrial projects is proven through installations at Luxshare-ICT (~20,048 kWp) and Vikohasan Ha Nam (3,200 kWp).
-
Phased Investment Delivering Value at Every Milestone
The strength of this approach lies in the standalone return of each phase: the metering and monitoring phase immediately identifies energy waste and flags early equipment faults; the analytics phase substantiates engineering retrofit investments; and the management system integration phase eliminates manual data entry while minimizing decision latency.
Rather than committing total budgets to high-risk monolithic projects, enterprises achieve measurable ROI at each milestone, utilizing accumulated empirical data to guide subsequent phases.
